XD!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, chromotive sent to me...
Twelve crystals drumming
Eleven dreams piping
Ten birds a-leaping
Nine angels dancing
Eight wings a-glowing
Seven auras a-suffering
Six shadows a-lightning
Five cru-u-u-umbling buildings
Four sharp objects
Three deep pools
Two parallel universes
...and a silver in a synchronicity.

Your rainbow is shaded black and violet.

What is says about you: You are a powerful person. You appreciate beauty and craftsmanship. You may meet people who are afraid of you. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it.

Find the colors of your rainbow at spacefem.com.

HAHA!  A lot of people are/have been afraid of me.  :P  I never really understood why...

10 things you wish you could say to 10 different people right now (don't list names)

(1) As much as I love you, I am SO dreading spending the ENTIRE day at your house tomorrow...    x_x
(2) I hope you're having a safe and fun trip out to your mom's place for Thanksgiving!
(3) As much as I wish I could, I just don't like you in that way anymore... it bothers me to think that you still have a thing for me, because the feeling isn't mutual... we just aren't a match.  I have been hoping to let it fade, because I don't want to hurt you.  You're better off looking elsewhere anyway, because I really don't know what I want right now.
(4) I'm sorry things got so fucked up between us.  I'm hoping they can be okay again.  I'm working on it, even if it doesn't seem like it... I'm still confused, but I'm trying.
(5) I'm sorry I haven't called you yet, it's just been such a crazy few days -- I promise I will try to remember tomorrow!
(6) I'm really sick of the way you two trash each other behind each other's back... I know you're not friends, but I feel trapped in the middle, and I really could care less about either of you anyway... I just want to come to work to do my job, not listen to how much you guys despise each other!  Jesus.
(7) I REALLY hope you don't cause any drama tomorrow, for christ's sake.
(8) I hope you have a decent day tomorrow and that we can get together soon!
(9) I'm sorry if I betrayed your trust, it was NEVER my intention to do that.
(10) I am grateful and happy that you're nearby, close to me in proximity, close in my heart.  Of all the things I am thankful for, you are at the top of my list.

Nine things about yourself.
(1) I don't know how to ride a bike.
(2) I haven't had my natural hair color since I was 12.
(3) I think I have asthma, but was never diagnosed.
(4) Never in my life have I ever felt that I was entirely female; it's an identity crisis I have dealt with for as long as I can remember.  But in recent years, I am starting to come to terms with that side of myself and even sort of accept it, sort of.
(5) I used to have my left eyebrow pierced, but it grew out.  I miss it sometimes.
(6) I have big feet -- size 11 or 11.5 women's.
(7) I also have big boobs and have since I hit puberty... size C cups by 7th grade, much to my dismay.  :P
(8) I have never flown in an airplane.
(9) I have never had a single cavity in my life (*knocks on wood*).

Eight ways to win your heart.
(1) MAKE ME LAUGH.
(2) Have a good balance of being serious, and being completely wacky and ridiculous.
(3) Love, and be compassionate to, animals.
(4) Have the patience to love me for who I am, despite my moods and quirks.
(5) Make me feel wanted and desired.
(6) Trust me enough to open up to me, emotionally.
(7) BE INTELLIGENT (practical smart as well as book-smart) and be interested in a wide range of subjects.
(8) Be open-minded and tolerant.

Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
(1) Man... how the hell am I going to pay for (insert random expense/bill here)?
(2) WTF is WRONG with people!?
(3) Hmm, what to work on next?  (art-related)
(4) Why can't I get motivated to do anything??  Argh...
(5) I need to start going to sleep earlier...
(6) I wish I had more friends to hang out with, and/or more fun stuff to get me out of the house, sometimes.
(7) I wish I knew what I wanted out of relationships... bleh.

Six things you wish you never did.
(1) Wish I had never had sex with JH -- I realize now that he was instrumental in the destruction of my self-esteem.  Not the only source of it, but a big part nonetheless.
(2) Wish I never let my mother drill it into my head that I was (am) fat.  (Speaking of people who helped destroy my self-esteem...)
(3) Wish I hadn't wasted my time in high school; wish I had applied myself more.
(4) Wish I hadn't been so quick to trust/open up to (insert a bunch of names here).
(5) Wish I hadn't wasted so much of my 20s...
(6) Wish I hadn't given up on myself so long ago, because I'm just starting to wake up again & it's going to take a LONG time to pick up the pieces I had abandoned.

Five turn-offs
(1) Willfully ignorant or unintelligent <---- Yeah, that.  Lump that in with being racist/bigoted, etc.
(2) Trying to restrict my freedom to be and do what the fuck I want in any way.
(3) Insincerity, being two-faced, ulterior motives, dishonesty -- all of that shit.
(4) Being self-centered, selfish, materialistic, shallow
(5) NOT BEING ABLE TO THINK FOR ONESELF.

Four turn-ons
(1) Intelligence.
(2) Sense of humor that meshes with my own.
(3) Passion -- "mad to love, mad to talk, mad to be saved; the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn" etc...
(4) Being teased (as long as it doesn't go unfulfilled forever...)

Three smileys that describe your life
(1) XD
(2) ;P
(3) >:(

Two things you want to do before you die
(1) Become a relatively successful/semi-famous artist.
(2) TRAVEL and just experience/see stuff.

One wish upon a star
(1) To be relatively content and fulfilled.

Steaming hot shower or freezing cold shower?:
Hot, usually, unless it's summertime, then I like a lukewarm one.

Do you like to mix all the shampoos in one bottle?:
Nope.

Early Shower or Late Shower?:
"Early," as in, one of the first things I do when I get up, rather than showering before bedtime.

Do you use bar soap or liquid?:
I like both, but I usually prefer body-wash.

The most showers that you have ever had in one day?:
One. I am not obsessive-compulsive.

Shower Curtains or Shower Door?:
Door.

Do you wash your hair everyday?:
Nope. Every other day or so.

Do you pee in the shower?:
Ugh, no. I don't think it's gross, I would just feel really weird doing it.

What color is your favorite soap?:
I switch soap varieties a lot, so I don't have a favorite.

Do you use shampoo and conditioner in one?:
Nope. Ever since I went to hairdressing school, I am definitely a shampoo snob.

Have you ever taken a shower with someone, even when you were little?:
I probably took baths with my little bros when we were kids. Have bathed/showered with lovers, too.

How long do you leave the shampoo in your hair before you rinse?:
I lather it really good, rinse, and repeat. I leave the conditioner on for a few minutes before rinsing, though.

Is there enough space in your shower for three people?:
Maybe 3 skinny people.

What is the longest that you have been without a shower?:
Not sure. A few days?

Ever take a cold shower on a cold day?:
Er, no.

Which part of your body do you dry first when you come out of the shower?:
My face.

Do people complain that you take too long in the shower?:
Sometimes.

What color is your favourite towel?:
I don't really have a favorite.

Where do you hang your towel after you are done with it?:
The towel rack in the bathroom.

Ever put your towel on a heater so that it would get warm while you shower?:
Nope.

Do you write on the bathroom mirrors when they are steamy?:
Nope.

What is the first thing that you do in the shower?:
Wet my hair and face.

Do you put lotion on your body after you take a shower?:
Yes, not usually directly after, but before I get dressed.

Do you prefer showers or baths?:
Showers, generally - though if I had a big hot tub, I would LOVE taking baths.

Get dressed in room or Bathroom?:
Bedroom.

Which part of your body do you dry after you dry your legs?:
I wrap my hair up in the towel.

Do you have a shower radio?:
Nope.

Which song do you find yourself singing in the shower often?:
I don't usually sing in the shower; it's more of a time for me to think and reflect (like I need to do any more of that, hah)

Do you use a separate towel to dry your hair?:
Nope.

Long showers or Quick showers:
Long-ish if I have the time, quick if I'm getting ready for work, etc.

Do you follow a special routine or sequence of actions in the shower?:
Usually. Wet hair, wet face, lather hair, rinse, repeat, condition hair, wash body, rinse, rinse conditioner, shave, wash face.

What color is the floor of your shower?:
White.

Can you fit an average car tire in your shower?:
Erm... what?

Do you turn on the hot water or cold water first?:
The shower has only one knob, all I have to do is pull on it to get the water going. It's always set to around the right temperature; I just let it heat up before I get in.

How far is the bathroom door from your shower?:
Opposite side of the room -- 8-10 feet? I dunno.

Do you own a rubber duckie?:
I think I own a miniature black & white devil-ducky somewhere.

Where is the drain in your shower situated?:
Beneath the faucet...... ?

Do you use the same towel everyday?:
I use the same towel 2 or 3 times, then trade it in for a clean one.

Do you dread taking a shower?:
I do, somewhat, because it takes so much time to shower and get ready -- well, not REAALY, but it's an hour or so of my time I'd rather spend doing other things. I do love the feeling of being in the shower though, and I love feeling clean.

Do you get bored in the shower?:
Sometimes, because I'd rather be doing other things.

Have you ever read the back of your shampoo bottle while in the shower?:
I can't help it. When words are in front of me, I can't help but read them.

Do you get dressed immediately after your shower?:
Not always. I might stick around in my robe for awhile.

Ever streak from the shower to your room?:
I don't streak, I stroll. I don't care. If other people are around, I just wear my robe from the bathroom to my room.

What time do you usually take a shower?:
Early afternoon (which is my usual wake-up time)

Do you usually spend the same amount of time in the shower?:
Yeah, about 20 minutes.

How many hours ago was your last shower?:
About 8 hours ago, before I went to work.

Ever slip and fall in the shower?:
Stumbled a few times, probably.

Do you like watching the water go down the drain?:
I don't pay attention.

Would you say that you enjoy showers?:
I love the feeling of them, yeah - I just hate the time they consume.

Do you brush your hair or comb your hair after a shower?:
I usually brush my hair out before I shower. And lately I've been blow-drying it straight, so yeah.

Do you have a shower cap?:
Nope, I just put my hair up in a clip or whatever. I don't mind if it gets a little damp.

How long does it take you to adjust the water temperature?:
Not long -- it doesn't usually take much adjusting.

Ever swallow soap?:
Nope. Not that I can remember, anyway. When I was a kid, I may have had my mouth washed out with soap...

Is the faucet for the hot water on your left or right if you are facing it?:
It's just one nozzle -- turn it toward the right for colder, to the left for hotter.

Would you rather take a cold shower in the morning or go without?:
Without, unless it was summertime and hot in the house.

Would you freak out if your hotel room had a bath but no shower?:
No, but I probably would skip washing my hair unless I really needed to.

How many showers are there in your house/apartment?:
One.

Ever rush to get out of the shower because you heard the phone ringing?:
Meh, I hardly ever answer my phone anyway.

Do you feel like taking a shower right now?:
Nope, I showered today, I'm clean enough.

What time is it?:
12:55 AM.

Being a musical virtuoso would be cool.

04) If I bought you a drink what would it be?

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.

07) What zodiac sign are you?
Libra.

08) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
Small (dime-sized) homemade anarchy symbol on my right knee given to me by an old friend when I was about 18.  Lots of actual tattoos planned, haven't had money yet to actually get them done.  :P  Used to have left eyebrow pierced, but it grew out.

09) Worst Habit?
Lack of motivation; occasional self-loathing.

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
If I had a car, hehe.  Sure. :)

11) What is your favorite sport?
I'm not really a sports kinda person.

12) Do you have a Pessimistic or Optimistic attitude?
Somewhere in the middle, with fluctuations toward one or the other depending on the day/occasion.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
Summer camp when I was about 8 years old.  I'm not kidding.

I can't think of one.  'Weird' is a relative term, anyway.

16) Do you have any pets?
Six cats.

17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly?
I'd probably get a bit nervous & caught off-guard.  No matter who it is, I don't like it when people drop by unannounced, not even my family, or best friends.  Just a quirk that I have.  I need at least a quick phone call beforehand.

18) What was your first impression of me?
To Zofia, who posted this meme -- I don't exactly remember when we met, but I have always thought of you as being extremely nice.  :)

19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
I think clowns are annoying.

29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
ART.

30) Do you swear a lot?
Fuck yes, I do.

31) Biggest pet peeve?
Grammatical/spelling errors irk me a lot.  Stupid (willfully ignorant) people annoy the hell out of me, too.  I have a lot of pet peeves, actually, I could go on and on...

Intense.  (?)

33) Do you believe/appreciate romance?
Argh, yes and no.

I believe in the possibility of something/someone.

36) Will you repost this so I can fill it out and do the same for you?
Sure.

-- Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Meth scares the shit out of me -- no way. I have no interest in hard drugs, yikes.

-- Abortion: for or against it?
100% FOR pro-choice.

-- Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Gender has nothing to do with ability to be a good leader.  :P

-- Do you believe in the death penalty?
Depends on the situation, but I am not against it.  In some cases, I really believe it is warranted.

-- Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
For fuck's sake, yes!  I don't consider it to be a drug.

-- Are you for or against premarital sex?
100% for.  I definitely believe people should be responsible about sex, however -- physically and emotionally.

-- Do you believe in God?

I believe in the possibility of something or someone.

-- Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?

Absolutely -- 100% yes.

-- Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
I don't mind if people emigrate here, illegally or not, as long as they don't get better "perks" (for lack of a better word) than legal citizens do.  I am all for immigrants getting taken care of by the government -- so long as citizens get the same.

-- A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
No way.  The emotional and mental toll would be way too high -- a 12-year old who gets pregnant should probably just get an abortion.  :P

-- Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?

Probably -- if you're old enough to die for your country, I think you ought to be able to buy beer.

-- Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Too much of a mess to just end it abruptly, I think... but yeah, it needs to wind down.

-- Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
I do NOT agree -- it should absolutely be legalized.

-- Do you believe in spanking your children?
Well, I don't believe in me having children at all.  :P  But, a spanking here and there isn't going to do lasting damage to anyone.  Young children cannot be reasoned with; their minds aren't developed in that way.

-- Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?

The only thing that would really make me hesitate to burn the American flag, or any other flag for that matter, is that I'd literally be afraid for my physical safety if anyone witnessed the act, or found out that I had done it.  The flag is a symbol, and means nothing to me.  I'd do it for free.  But hey, if you wanna give me a million dollars, too... :P

-- Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
Meh... these days, I try to vote for the lesser of two evils.  I don't really feel very confident about voting for anyone, or about the voting system in general.

-- Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I know that no matter what I say, there is always the possibility that I'll be judged.  It's just human nature to make snap judgments about others (for some anyway); people are judgmental -- you have to make a conscious effort NOT to be, and work at it all the time.  So I try not to lose any sleep over what people think.  If someone reads my answers and isn't open-minded enough to accept that I have a right to my own opinion, oh fucking well.
